What did you like the most?
"Amazing location in old historic town, full of character. We couldn't speak any Spainsh, or the staff any English, but the hotel staff went out of their way to be helpfull and we were made to feel very welcome. It was refreshing to be treated so well when they expected nothing in return."

What did you like the most?
"A fantastic, characterful small hotel in a beautiful medieval hilltop town. My room was comfortable, roomy and quiet, Aircon provided (although not needed during my visit). Staff were excellent, especially the waiter who not only put up with my dreadful attempts at Spanish when ordering, but also persevered in order to recommend things to see in the areal. I think it is the owner who cooks, and the food is good traditional Spanish - no pretensions, eat in the bar or under the arches in the old town square, 3 Course menu at 12 EURO. Breakfast included fresh orange juice. If you want fine dining, it is available in town, including at the Parador, but stay here anyway, you'll have more money left to spend on a meal. In my opinion there is really no need to pay more for lodgings. But beware asking for a brandy after your meal - it is good Spanish brandy, but I was given about a quarter of a pint, which went down far too easily!"
