Our hotel is located in the centre of Grenada, in University square, on the corner of San Jerónimo Road.
The Fonda Sanchez hotel was recently renovated and now provides all comforts. The balconies overlook University Square and San Jerónimo Road. The building is in a very fortunate location. Three minutes walking distance will bring you to the Cathedral, as well as the Royal Chapel (the crypt for the catholic kings) and the historic district of Alcaiceria providing a multitude of shops. Five minutes from the hotel, you will find the district of Albaicin, awarded the "Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO. The most prestigious monument in the town, the Alhambra (a citadel built by the Maures) is only fifteen minutes from our hotel.

Take junction 128 Méndez Núñez. Continue on the same road, passing the Centre Hotel to take the avenue Fuente Nueva after 400m. Follow the signs towards the car park, taking the fork but do not follow the road on the right towards the car park. Instead, go straight ahead for 50m then take the road Rector López Argueta on the right, then follow the road San Jerónimo until University Square. The hotel is situated on your right.
