The hostel is next to the road to the mountain and ride Jucar in San Anton, one of the oldest and most typical of the city. Since you can see the baroque church of the Virgin birth, the historical center and the lush surroundings of the river Jucar.
It offers a quiet, rural setting and ideally situated for travel, work or study. In a few minutes on foot can be in the old town, campus or the commercial and administrative center. Renovated old building with some of the excavated rock is the rock element of this most singular casona.
It also contains the cozy living room of ten double rooms with bathroom TV, internet and above all a peaceful view of the city.
It is pedestrian access, with parking at 200 meters. -

Failure to cancel your booking prior to this time will result in a charge of one night's accommodation apart from the initial guarantee deposit. If your amendment reduces the number of nights or rooms the deposit will not be refunded and will not be discounted of the modified reservation fee.

- "1. Hard to find! The booking.com description is of no help. Cross the bridge from the old/new town. (San Lazaro is not only a street and a plaza, it is a quarter). Turn right at the church down Paseo de Jugar, along the river. Up the steps 15 meters on the left. Look for the sign on the wall. 2. I hate those beds with plasticcovers under the linen sheets."

- "I was very comfortable at Hostal de la Luz. The location is great, half
way between the train station and the old town. Very nice view from the
room window. The breakfast is decent and fairly generous. The people
are very friendly and if you speak any Spanish at all you will enjoy
their openness."

- "Really caring hosts and we felt like we were staying in a bed and breakfast rather than a hostel. Beautiful room and view, always warm and comfortable."

- "Language barrier made it difficult, but we used a phone translator application to get by which helped."

- "Hostal de la Luz was a great find. The owners were extremely helpful and kind and the breakfast was good value for money. The room was spacious and clean and had a rooftop view over the river and church. The location was perfect, only a five minute walk to the town, tapas bars were closer and the area was nice and quiet. Definitely recommended!"
