"GREAT location just off the Gran Via, 2 minutes from the major shopping and entertainment street, a metro station and within walking distance of all of Madrid's city centre sights. Very reasonably priced. Helpful staff."
Is there anything you didn't like?
"You can't complain about things you're not paying for! It's not 'recently refurbished', the toilets are shared, and the immediate area is 'bohemian' (I mean there are sex workers around). If these things trouble you then choose somewhere else to stay."

"I liked the location. Very, very, very central.
Is a good hostel if you junt wanna sleep. Kind staff, very familiar.
The dog is a must-see."

"Very noisy rooms, but is indifferent to me. I always sleep anyway, whatever noise."

"The location of the Hostal is central, close to Gran Via, the rooms are
clean, a little spartans and the single room close to the bath is not
the best choice for the night, as you can hear everything"
