    Hostal Castil is located in the city center of Granada. It has been recently restored and is next to the Cathedral. A great value for money and a splendid friendly staff are our best attributes.
    The property has 7 rooms that have been fully equipped and are single, double and triple rooms. There are two shared bathrooms with a dryer.
    If you need to park your car, there is a public parking lot next to our accommodation. All the area surrounding the hostel is full of bars and restaurants where you must try the city’s famous “tapas”.
    Granada is 68 km away from Motril, Sierra Nevada Nature Reserve is 88 km away o and Malaga is 133 km away.

    Granada is a a perfect town if you like to get around on foot: “la Alcaicería”, the Cathedral, the Alhambra, “el Albaicín”, “el Sacromonte”, and the “tapas” and leisure areas are all a short walk away from the hotel.

  • Cancellation policy

    Reservation may be cancelled or amended up to 48 hours prior to the date of the client's arrival. Failure to cancel your booking prior to this time will result in a charge of one night's accommodation apart from the initial guarantee deposit. In order to amend a reservation, please contact the hotel direclty, which details figure on the voucher. If by amending your reservation, the number of nights or rooms you had originally booked is reduced, the deposit will not be refunded and will not be discounted of the modified reservation fee.

"Bit chilly in March, wouldn't go there in winter. Can be noisy because of location, take earplugs if you are a light sleeper."

"The room didn't have heat system, but that wasn't a problem."

"It is awful. Very cold and dirty. The bedlinen has forgotten the washing. In the room it is so tightly that you cannot find the place for the shoes. My wife slept in warm clothes, Early in the morning we run out this pension like Napoleon from Russia"

"The location is excellent."

"After an initial issue, the woman running the hostel was very nice and even wrote out a large list of things for us to see in Malaga as that was our next destination. The location is good for walking in the main part of the city and it's easy to get a bus to Alhambra (or walk if you are so inclined). Rooms were quite small, but fine for sleeping and included a sink so you could do some basics without going to the shared bathroom."
Is there anything you didn't like?
"Our initial impression was quite bad in that no one was present when we arrived and we had to wait for an hour, despite being there during the checkin hours specified on Booking.com. When we called to find out what was going on, we were asked if we could come back in 30 minutes because they were not around at the moment. When I forcefully said "no", she arrived quickly and let us in. She tried to imply it was our fault for not telling her when we were arriving, despite being there at a very reasonable time in the mid-afternoon. She did later apologize and after that was quite friendly. NOTE: Definitely mention your intended arrival time in the comments when booking!"
