- "We really enjoyed visiting our old friends in Miami and enjoying all the city has to offer. We had a fantastic time at the Fortuna House. We arrived very late at night and it was no problem because we had asked for late checkin instructions before we arrived . The Manager who lives on the property accommodated us and was very pleasant. There was ample parking just outside the building. It was all free and painless. The area was nice and we enjoyed walking to the restaurants in our neighborhood. The Internet was good and worked fast after I was able to log in to the secured Fortuna network with the password. They showed us two rooms when we got there. Both were very nice and everything was very clean. The sheets and towels were ironed nicely and smelled good. We picked the apartment with a lot of windows and we enjoyed the view of the garden next door. There was a lot of light in the room and we enjoyed that. There were lots of guests from Europe speaking many different languages. There was a nice and friendly crowd. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony to look at the view of Miami and speak to the other guests. The staff was very friendly too. We felt very much at home. Different from a hotel and more personal."

- "I rented 2 rooms for my family and we really enjoyed our stay. I am so happy I was able to find something affordably priced in the downtown area. At $225 a night this seemed to be a bargain compared to everything else I had seen online. This place was priced cheaper than many airport hotels and we certainly did not want to stay at the airport. We wanted to be in a central location near the city center of downtown and close to South Beach. We were attending a wedding in a Miami Beach hotel. It seems like the closer you are to South Beach the more expensive Miami gets. We found some great value here at the Fortuna House and we did not have to sacrifice space. The rooms were spacious. We had 4 people in each room and we were fine. We also did not want to pay $40 a night for parking like most hotels charge in Miami. The parking was free at the Fortuna House, we felt very comfortable leaving the car on the street, and there were always lots of spaces available. The place really met my expectations. The apartments looked just like the pictures online. Equivalent to a large hotel suite and with the benefit of a fully equipped kitchen. It was very convenient since we did not want to spend money on restaurants for every meal. We went to the grocery store a few blocks away when we arrived and stocked up the refrigerator with food for the week. There was also lots of cabinet space for snacks. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great stay."
