- "Unfriendly staff, wifi is not free like most hotels. Dusty and poor cleaning of carpet and furnishings. Curtains are filthy with holes in them. Unable to open window to fully enjoy the view. Would only recommend for the location."

- "Back from a 3 night stay. Lovely Hoel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Our
room was on 2nd floor but were told on checking in that they would move
us to a higher floor the next day if we found the room noisy. We were
overlooking the Gran Via but we didn't need to move. Room was large
and cleaned with fresh towels daily. It had a little kitchenette off
bedroom with everything you needed except a kettle but there was a
saucepan to boil water. Also a fully stocked fridge with very reasonable
prices. The safe was free of charge. Couldn't ask for more and we
will certainly stay if we go back to Madrid which we will do. A lovely
city with very friendly people. The bathroom was huge with a powerful
shower, probably the best we have seen. Nice Bar/Breakfast room. We
didn't have breakfast but it costs ?8 but you can have a cup of
coffee and a bun for much much less. They also did menu of the day for
less than ?10 which included a 3 course meal and a drink. The hotel is
only two stops from the Airport and ?5 will get you to the hotel. Line 8
from the Airport and I think line 10 from Neuvos Ministral. Great
service. Enjoyed every second of our stay. Location excellent. A

- "There are a number of steps up to the reception but that didn't bother us in the slightest. But best to be aware of that in case of mobility problems and heavy suitcases. There was absolutely nothing about this lovely hotel that we disliked and were pleasantly surprisesd at the quality consider how little we paid."
