About Apartamento Complejo Turístico La Garganta

Getting there:

What did you like the most?: Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, peaceful, friendly staff. Great place to get away from it all and only 40 minutes from Malaga by train. Would definately return. sent it by Grazia

What did you like the most?: Very relaxing. Lovely setting and something a bit different. The building is beautiful and it was nice and peaceful and remote. Food was excellent. sent it by David

What did you like the most?: This stylish conversion of an old mill has a spectacular outlook over the dam and reservoir. We had the duplex room on the ground floor so the pool was right outside our door. The pool was great fun with bubbles and sprays and the best view I have ever seen from a swimming pool! Only 10 minutes away is the lake where you can canoe or swim and all this just one hour away from Malaga. We ate breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel and all were fine although not as great as I expected given the splendor of the hotel and its setting. sent it by Anónimo

What did you like the most?: Location, facilties, hotel restaurant offered good food at reasonable prices. sent it by Andrew

What did you like the most?: Very kind and helpful personnel. In the first night, our neighbours were
a big Spanish family with children who made a lot of noise, screaming
and laughing out loudly. The rooms are not very well isolated. After a
couple of complaints, the reception desk offered us another room for a
quiet night. Luckily the famlily was there only one night. The view and
location is terrific, beautiful surroundings. The rooms with terrasses
are the best. From there, you have a beautiful view on the river and
mountains. sent it by Philip

What did you like the most?: Staff were friendly and efficient, and very accommodating when my friend fell ill - we could not have asked for better service. Beautiful building, re-imagined with style and sensitivity, and a perfect location for my needs (climbing in El Chorro). Great facilities for the price and good food too. sent it by Anónimo

What did you like the most?: Lovely setting, good clean rooms, plenty of toiletries and clean towels.
Breakfast, drinks and evening meals very reasonable. Great place to use
as base for the lovely area of El Chorro, and the lakes and for those
who want to take a very scary walk around the Camino del Rey! sent it by Jeannette

What did you like the most?: Family run hotel ,very friendly staff. Local sightseeing very enjoyable. sent it by Kevin

be better! sent it by Enrique

What did you like the most?: Amazing location in the mountains by a lake, good swimming pool, interesting rooms sent it by Frank

What did you like the most?: It's location is fantastic and the building is beautiful. The pool area
is lovely. sent it by Harald

What did you like the most?: Such a lovely hotel and a beautiful location! The pool is wonderful and
the whole place is very clean. The bar and restaurant staff are friendly
and helpful. The hotel food is nice but often not worth the prices
charged. If you're booking on line, I would recommend not getting
breakfast included as it's cheaper to just pay for it once you're there.
The lovation is nice and the views spectacular. If you're after a nice
relaxing break then I would absolutely recommend this place. It's about
a 15 minute drive to the larger lakes which are well worth a visit! sent it by David

What did you like the most?: Location and beautiful view of El Chorro from the window. sent it by Jerome
