Leave the motorway at junction 213 (Badalona N.-Mollet), make sure it's junction 213, and follow the signs to Hotel Miramar. Take the avenue that goes down to the sea, President Companys, until it is obligatory to turn left into Francesc Layret, proceed as far as Josep Cortinas square, which has an underground car-park and a sign indicating the Hotel. Immediately after turn right into Riera Matamoros, and continue to the end of the street, which is blocked off. Park the car in the hotel’s car-park entrance, and the hotel’s main entrance is in the avenue on the left.

The family-friendly Miramar is located just a few metres from the town’s station, from where trains run to the centre of Barcelona in just 20 minutes. It looks out over a golden sandy beach which stretches up to the north, forming the Costa de Maresme. You can easily reach all of the small, charming resorts along this coastline from Badalona’s train station. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants, many of which open onto open-air terraces. Nearby you can also enjoy a visit to the Roman spa town of Baetulo (guided tours begin from the centre of Badalona). The town is noted for its sports facilities, and you will find a number of swimming pools and beach volleyball courts on and around the beach. It is also possible to visit the nearby Anis de Mono factory (booking required).
