What did you like the most?: The location is superb, the subway is right next to the hotel and very close to a small supermarket in case you need to buy smth. Across the road from the same supermarket, is a wonderful bakery that has great sandwiches, grab a couple before heading out into the city and save if youre on a budget. There are quite a few cafes and restaraunts nearby but i suggest for the most diverse selection of food to head to the latin quarter.
Among Montmarte being pretty much in walking distance you also have the Opera district with its many and huge shopping galleries. At Opera is also the stop for the 'Roissybus' to and from Charles De Gaulle airport, instead of taking the subway you can walk to the hotel which should take about 10-15 minutes, with a light bag its no problem. It might be even better with a heavier luggage, due to the subways lack of escalators.
I was pleasantly surprised that the room was cleaned pretty much everyday, except for the days we slept in. Also on the 5th floor we got the room with a small balcony, but due to the cold weather we never went out, i think this is the only floor to have one.
Some days it was really cold -7 but the heating works so great that we even opened the small bathroom window to let some fresh air in.
Unfortunately we didnt try the breakfast considering we always woke up late.
