- "They forgot to send a taxi to pick me up in the middle of the night, so I ended getting in a taxi from the airport (green taxi) and he charged more and was very unprofessional."

- "The building itself is interesting. The staff is very helpful. Prompt help with luggage. The price is moderate. Located in a good section of town. Near good restaurants. Could store bags at the hotel while we went to the Amazon. We could also leave laundry to be done at the hotel while we were in the Amazon. Hotel helped arrange a tour. Hotel arranged for us to be picked up at the airport."

- "no elevator. This necessitates tipping if you are on an upper floor. Breakfast is mediocre. . Hotel was on some nights noisy. Guests are asked to put used toilet paper in the trash can rather than the toilet. The laundry service returned one bag of our laundry undone. (They quickly fixed this)."

- "The Hotel Antigua Miraflores is a charming older hotel in the Miraflores area. The location is wonderful, close to Parque Kennedy, but in a quiet residential area. The staff was wonderful. They are building a lobby bar, which should be quite beautiful and fun."

- "With an older hotel, you have to expect that toilets and showers are going to be touchy and they were."
